“We’ve set our students some of the most difficult and complex projects faced by architects today, and they’ve thrown back answers that range from the optimistically fantastic to the darkly gothic,” she said.
“We’re showing the boldest projects from across the year with the hope that some ideas might be game-changers.”
91É«ÊÓƵSchool of Architecture lecturer and exhibition co-coordinator Doug Neale said the exhibition focussed on projects by Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architectural Design students.
“The exhibited projects are selected from our newly structured Masters’ programme, where students work in six diversely themed studios and a master class,” he said.
“Our studios favour experimentation and resolution in design across a wide range of scales, from landscapes, infrastructure and urban interventions to designs for individual buildings.”
CROP’15 will open with a public celebration at 6pm on Friday 4 December and run until 13 December.
